The dream of being on a big stage, the lights, the smoke, the applause and screaming of an appreciative audience is a strong calling for many (young and old). Most people settle with it being just a dream.

What if I told you that this dream could come true for everyone who takes lessons at our school... well it can, and it does.

Two times a year the WMEC takes the old fashioned music recital and turns it right on it's end. Instead imagine a full blown rock production. If they're willing and able, all Students at our school get the opportunity that most only dream about. The full experience of what it might be like to be on tour... but without leaving your home town. (Concert organizers also look year round to find more opportunities as well for our students to play live.)

How do we do it? We build it from the ground up. Within each students lesson our Instructors will help to prepare them with their part(s) in a song for band rehearsals. Solo acts and Duets to large band combos all form the makings of our shows.

All ages, and Instruments are welcome to participate. Later on for a few weeks we fine tune things in band rehearsals and away we go....

We've had many parents comment on how these concerts have improved their kids self confidence, their love for music , their understanding and passion for their instrument and even how it's changed their lives. It's not surprising, for all our instructors music and performance has changed them all the same way (and they want to share that passion).
